Scott Dougan founded Elevated Retirement Group in 2003 in order to fill a niche he felt was not being addressed properly in the retirement planning environment – helping retirees and pre-retirees in the Kansas City metro area find answers to issues that may affect the quality of life during their retirement.
Scott is a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) and holds a Series 65 Investment Adviser Representative license, which holds him to the fiduciary standard. He also holds insurance licenses in Kansas, Missouri and other states.
Scott is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants. Scott and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Prairie Village with their three dogs, Kozmo, Tuesday and Mazie.
Sean P. Lee, MSFS

Since 2002, Sean Lee has helped families reach and maintain their financial goals. He thoroughly educates his clients about the ins and outs of each of their financial decisions to help create and execute a material financial plan. He has also been featured as a local financial advisor on Utah’s NBC station, KSL 5.

He holds a Master of Science in Financial Services MSFS from the Institute of Business & Finance and a Bachelor of Science in finance from Westminster College.
Sean was born and raised in southern Wyoming but has called Utah his home for over 17 years. He currently lives with his wife, daughter and son in Draper. In his free time, Sean enjoys playing and coaching baseball, golfing and spending time with his family and friends.

National Sales Manager
Kathleen is the National Sales Manager for Emerging Advisor. Her role is to contribute to the sales objectives of our company. She is responsible for developing business partnerships across the US and growing and nurturing long term relationships with our clients. Kathleen joined Emerging Advisor in February 2018, and comes from a successful, 20-year career in Media Advertising across several mediums.
A sports enthusiast, Kathleen played volleyball in college where she studied communications. She competed in a semi-professional, fast-pitch league during her summers from college. After college, she competed on an AAU women’s basketball team that played pre-season exhibition games in the PAC 10 division. Kathleen has competed internationally on several paddling teams since 1994 in the sports of Dragon Boating and Outrigger canoe for regional and National teams at the world level. Kathleen continues to enjoy competing internationally and is thankful for her opportunities. She transplanted from Portland, OR in February 2018 and has an amazing dog, Harriet.
